Product Care: These blankets will arrive with a care label saying 'Dry Clean Only'.  This is to ensure that we, or the manufacturers are not held liable for any blanket that is machine washed or hand washed without taking great care. These blankets have been tested using a washing machine, on a wool wash at 30°C with an approved wool wash detergent, and on a no spin cycle. They must NEVER be tumble dried. We recommend Allerwash as a superb wool & delicates detergent. They can shrink slightly within a tolerance of about 3 - 5%, but still should look in excellent condition. Dry cleaners are now not allowed to dry clean any bedding, and now use a system called Wet Cleaning, using water and a solvent. These blankets can be laundered using this technique. Our blankets can also be washed in a washing machine with the same previous instructions, but with even better outcomes using our WashSafe™ bag.
