If youre looking at this product theres probably a degree of desperation creeping on your part. Little one with eczema or an allergy, and claws at their little face and more often than not drawing blood, right
Well that was pretty much my positon, and to that end this served a purpose. This isnt the most expensive product in the world and it works to an extent. The reason Ive rated it three stars is that there were several occasions where my daughter was able to wriggle her hands free and get back to scratching her cheeks. My mother simply stitched on silk mits to the baby-grows, like you get on most manufacturers grows up to the six month size - worked a treat.
On a tangent, if you are looking at this product for the above reasons a few lessons Id impart from my experience;
- Go to the doctors regularly - dont let them fob you off

After searching around for ages to find a solution to stopping my little's scratching its face raw due to eczema. I came across scratch sleeves. This are brilliant as they are very difficult for even the wriggliest baby to remove. Normal scratch mittens just fell off and hands escaped roll over sleeves. These sleeves work like a shrug and if you put it on under the baby's outer top, they stay put (bear in mind you will need to get the sleeves in the right size as if they are too big, they can be slipped off). They have silk lined outers so when the baby rubs its face, the material does not aggravate already sore and delicate skin. They worked really well and allowed a scratchy baby to get some much needed sleep and skin to heal. These sleeves are very easily washable and in the end, I bought several and these were used at night and on long car journeys. Babies can still play with the sleeves on, but as the the eczema began to clear up, the little one did not need to wear them...
