We have had this door chain for some months and we are extremely pleased with it. We chose this brand having read the positive reviews and Police Approved recommendation.We live alongside a lane which is a right of way to a small estate, it has always been a worry when I answer the door when I am alone in the house.Now I can keep the chain on tight to see the caller and release more of the chain if necessary. Being metal it is very strong.As another reviewer said it is not possible for the person outside to put their hand through the door.Fixing was easy and straight forward. Now we feel confident and secure and have peace of mind.

This is a must have product. I bought this for my mother as she tends to just open the front door without checking who is behind it.It's very strong and durable and screws to the brickwork wall at the front door. I feel a lot more secure knowing that this product is on the door and it gives just enough slack for you to view and speak to the caller at the door. The product is easy to use- just close the door and unhinge the lock to open. I watched the YouTube videos of this product as was skeptical to purchase, however I was glad to see that even with a kick, the door won't open at all. This is the best lock I have come across.
