Good top protection, poor quality on sides, 9 Sept. 2017

I bought two single mattress protectors, they are well sized and fit the long single beds which we have. I like the quality of the top of the protector, but the product is let down by the quality of the sides - I know the sides won't get as much wear as the top but for a few extra pence I am sure the manufacturers could have used a more robust material on the sides. The material used is paper like (reminded me of a j cloth) and I'm sure it won't stand up to many washes - as the old saying goes - don't spoil the ship for a ha'penth of tar!!

Side are awful quality and less than a month in already have a huge hole in them., 3 Oct. 2017

Really disappointed with the quality of this. I deliberated about buying this or a more expensive one and have now gone back and bought a more expensive one so this was a real waste of money. The quality of the protector part on the top is fine. But the sides are awful quality. We have been using this less than a month and the sides have already torn and have a great big hole in them. They are paper thin. Would not recommend at all.

Good product. Don't know why it got some bad reviews. Really easy to put on. It is true the sides are thin but not bad enough to put your fingers through easily if your careful with it. Just don't put it in a dryer. I did with ours and it shrunk and went all crispy around the thin sides, I had to pull it all apart carefully to re-stretch it which thankfully I managed without too much damage.
