Looks great, but not sturdy enough, 10 May 2013

I love Skip Hop products, and have many of them, including the normal bee lunchie, but I can no longer use this as the fabric around the handle has frayed so badly there are now large holes at the top. This has been caused by the odd occasions where I have needed to grab my little boy as he attempts to throw himself somewhere as toddlers tend to do. The handle is obviously not designed to deal with this as I have since realised, but may other similar products do, such as the Littlelife backpacks which promote the handle, calling it a grab handle.Also, a the rein is attached in one place at the bottom of the bag if the child attempts to run off at any pace (which again is a commonplace event) then the angle of the rein when taut tips him over making him fall!A lovely looking bag, as to be expected from Skip Hop, but not overly functional or hard wearing :0(

Very nice backpack for small babies. It is of good quality and very nice. Suitable for both boys and girls. The only problem I had is that even if the straps are adjustable, the safety one that stays on the baby's chest is not: my son is a 16 months big boy, and I had to buy a new string to add, otherwise the buckle wouldn't close. Even for smaller children with a jacket on, that could be too tight.

Quality back pack for 2-4 year old, 11 Feb. 2014

Bought it for my 3 year old daughter - she loves it and me, too. It's a very good quality, suitable for 2-4 year old (for older kids you'd need something little bit bigger). It's the second one I've purchased (we forgot to bring the first one from our holidays at my parents abroad) and I intend to buy more as a present for my niece as well.
