These are made from really think heavy weight melamine and I'm pretty sure it's indestructable, even though my son has been hurled it across the room several times, it still good as new. The colours are really strong and bright and don't fade with use and washing although we don't have a dish washer, so I'm not sure how it would fair in one. At first glance this set look pricey but I've had several sets of childrens crockery and none have been as nice in design and durability as this one is.

I bought this one and an owl set as a christening gift for twins. They seem to have been gratefully received and both sets looked lovely on arrival. My only comment would be that the plate is extremely large. t the plate is extremely large.

Really high quality and well made. Very thick sturdy melanine. We've purchased a few divided plates and the finish scratched off very quickly. This product is clearly much harder wearing and designed with kids in mind.
