Good suction bowl, 7 April 2015
We have a newborn - our second - so I know what I am looking for in baby products. This is a good bowl.Critically, the plastic that this is made from is BPA-free. Exposure to BPA is a concern because of possible health effects of BPA on the brain, and on foetuses, infants and children. (Incidentally, the instructions refer to `bisphenol A' - this is more commonly known as BPA).The bowl has a large yellow silicone skirt which forms the suction. It sticks rigidly to surfaces. The tab to break the seal is also large (about the size of a 5p coin), which is useful.Everything save the skirt (which acts as the sucker) is dishwasher safe. The skirt is removable. The spoon slides into the lid rather than drops into it. This means that it is more securely held when not in use.We are very happy with this bowl.Disclaimer: I received this product for free in exchange for my honest & unbiased review.

These are very good, 27 Mar. 2015

Sent for review the snug suction bowl with feeding spoon is suitable for babies and toddles and comes in a nice semi transparent pack and certainly looks good quality inside the pack. It's not a sealed sterile pack which means it's best to clean it before use (see cleaning section towards the tail end of the review for more details).

Once removed from the pack yes it's good quality and what I liked about it the most was that there was no strong plastic odour coming from the plastic which is essential for this type of product.

The design is modern yet retro and the yellow and green go well together. What you get is a good sized bowl with a flat base and edges that are not sharp in any way - this is very important.

On the side there is a flat handle with a good grip and a lid that fits on very well giving what looks like a waterproof seal. There is a carved groove on top of the lid and this is where the yellow and green spoon slots in securely...

Excellent features on this must-have for parents of young children at mealtimes, 20 Mar. 2015

I've used suction bowls before, with my son as a toddler as a first feeding tool. This is an excellent example of why they are so useful for parents.

This Snug Feeding Bowl sticks well to a high chair (or table top) to prevent small hands from throwing meals to the floor, and comes with a lid that means food can remain warm for longer or be taken out and about. The suction pad is easy for an adult to stick down and remove from a flat surface but a challenge for small children.

There is also a spoon included that fits snugly into the lid and means you don't need to remeber to bring separate utensils if eating out. It's good quality and a good shape for feeding very young children.

The whole bowl and extras are a great colour - bright yellow, to suit either gender - that can be easily seen. The handle has extra grip for both parent and child to aid in carrying.

It's quite a deep bowl so would suit both a first eater and one slightly older who...
