Adorable slippers that stay on!, 16 Oct. 2013
I just got these for my daughter, to keep her from slipping around in her socks. She hasn't worn them long, so I can't vouch yet for how durable they are. However, they do have good elastic that keeps them securely on her feet. They are so adorable that she'll stop and point at the owls, to show them off to us. She mainly walks now, so she hasn't yet stopped to try to remove them. Still, they fit so snugly around the ankle that I think she'll have to work at them to get them off. The suede sole has kept her from slipping around on the wooden floors. Overall, I'm very happy with these slippers.As far as sizing goes, she is now 17 months old and wears size 20 (EU) shoes. These slippers (12-18 months) fit just perfectly. There's still a bit of room at the top, meaning they should fit another month or two. She's on the edge of needing size 21 shoes, so I think the sizing is just right.
