Saved me from being a nervous wreck, 1 May 2011

I bought my doppler in my second pregnancy after suffering a missed miscarriage with my first - found at our dating scan.

When I reached 10 weeks the second time around I was having horrendous anxiety thinking about going to my dating scan and having the same thing happen again, and my previous baby had stopped growing at 11 weeks so I ordered this doppler to try and hear the heartbeat before then.

We first attempted to hear the heartbeat at 10+4 weeks, and listened every other day after that. With patience, we found the heartbeat every single time! It was the most reassuring thing ever and I could listen every time I had a wobble.

There are some tricks to it:

* Lie down slightly reclined.

* Start low by the pubic bone, you might need to aim downwards slightly. Slowly move from side to side, and then gradually further up. At around 10 weeks we would often find the baby to one side, such as near the area where my ovaries were.

I bought this Angelsounds baby monitor to put me and my partner at ease! After our first pregnancy in which sadly ended with a missed miscarriage, I was a nervous wreck once I found out I was pregnant again, we spent weeks wondering if our baby was ok luckily at our dating scan all was well & we were even 5 days further along than expected! It was when I got to 16 weeks the fear kicked in again as I hadn't really felt baby move I bought this home doppler, it took us minutes to locate baby's hb! I'm currently 19 weeks and still don't really feel baby so it's nice to just check up on them and have the reassurance, I hear little thuds and that's baby moving!!. It is also a great way for you and your partner and/or family to bond with baby!I would highly recommend!

I love this product, i got them as presents for my little sister and sister in law and they were made up with them. We found the heart beat straight away, no more waiting to go to the doctors and the whole family got to have a listen. Recording it for later listening is really good too.
