I love the colour and pattern. The quality is excellent and very well packaged. I would order these products again.I wish there were a few guidelines on introducing a child to water in this float suit. My daughter (18 months old) is still getting used to it because she has to do the work to keep her head out of the water, it does not work as a float device such as armbands or swimming rings but more as a buoyancy aid.Also, though I chose a size relevant to age and weight, the length is a bit short and pinches her shoulders, so a height guide would be useful with this product.

Bought this swimsuit about six months ago. Each row of floats consists of two smaller ones. My toddler is now 19 months and moves around the pool independently. It gives them great confidence and you just remove the floats as they get better at swimming. We love it!

Better than the vest, 11 Oct. 2013

Initially I thought the vest would be a much better solution for our 1.5 year old. As it turned out, the vest didn't work. It looked ridiculous and clearly would be uncomfortable in the pool. So I tried this floatsuit and both my child and me are happy with it. The floats around the waist don't ride up (as it would be with the vest, I'm sure). Additionally, as they are arranged in 2 tiers, it's easy to adjust the buoyancy by removing some of them. It's a bit of a challenge to put on, I found it's better to put it on without the floats, and then insert them afterwards. The same goes for taking it off - remove the floats first. Also, it's easier to take it off while still in the pool. I recommend you get a bigger size. I bought 2-4 for my 1.5 year old (tall, 13-14kg) and it's pretty tight already. My toddler is a lot more confident around the pool and even tries to swim "properly" in it. All I wanted is to make sure wouldn't go down like a rock and also to make it easier for me...
