My “Closestool Night Light” duly arrived next day thanks to Amazon Prime. Once I had opened the packaging I was a tad surprised by the relatively small box inside. I needn’t have worried – everything was there.
I must admit to being a tad dubious about this light and its intended location! However, having had our young grand-children visit for Halloween – it has been a godsend. Basically, it clips to your toilet bowl and only activates at night (darkness) when someone approaches. As such, a little one needing the loo at night can find it without problem or worry. It then turns itself off after a while if no one is nearby. Indeed, the kids Mum has asked if they take the night-light home with them for use in their own toilet. That’s fine by me!

Daughters makeup and perfumes were totally taking over the top of her dressing table so when I came across this it looked like the perfect storage solution to keep everything together. Thankfully it arrived very quickly and came in it's flatpack form. Such an easy handy concept just unwrapped it out of the cellophane bag held the top, pushed down the bottom and instantly had a really good sized storage bin that measures 38 cm by 26 cm with a depth of 23cm.
The outside material is a jute and linen and it feels thick and hardwearing. the blue is a deep almost denim colour with the top being a contrasting oatmeal beige colour that fitted perfectly in with my daughters room decor and being a neutral colour round the top even if she changes her room colour in the future this will still look good. The inside has a linen lining in a darker chocolatey brown colour and between the outer and inner is an EVA layer that adds to the feeling of quality this has.

When I opened this up I was pleasantly surprised at the quality and thickness of the material. The Jute exterior is exactly the lovely thick and hardwearing material I had hoped it would be giving a really rustic but smart look.
The inside is cotton lined and I checked all the stitching inside and out and could not find anything wrong at all.
I love the little ‘handles’ on the side that are made of the same Jute material and threaded through large strong metal grommets.
The blue colour is a sort of slightly faded denim and is set off really well with stone coloured top and handles.
There is a strong metal frame that is stitched into the rim and this ensures that it holds it shape really well. The bottom is also very thick - I think this would actually hold a fair weight! It is certainly one of the strongest material storage solutions I have come across.
