A mom's trouble: My 11-month-old son is really great at getting his suction toddler bowls to un-suction. Any idea on where to get a bowl that has really good suction? I'm pretty much thinking I may have to super-glue his bowl to his high chair and call it a day.
When the mom bought this product and let us look what she said: I received this as a gift from a friend. It has got to be the best bowl we have ever had. I used other with my oldest child in the past but they never stayed put. This stay in place and allows my toddler to practice gaining control of his environment when eating without making too much of a mess fo rme to clean up later :)

This is very useful and attractive set of baby food bowls and cutlery.
In the box you get three bowls with snap on lids and a knife and spoon. The bowls are different colours (blue, purple and pink) and the spoons are a pale blue.
I expected the set to be more or less the same as any other set of baby bowls you can buy anywhere. This set, however, has to major advantages over most of the competition.
Firstly the bowls feature a strong suction cup base. You just press the bowl down onto a flat surface, such as a feeding chair tray, and the bowl sticks firmly in place. There is no chance of the child knocking it over onto your nice carpet etc.
Secondly the spoon and knife turn white when they are put into anything that exceeds a safe eating temperature of abut 39C (about 100F). If they turn white when you put them into the child’s food you know immediately the food is too hot and you need to leave it for a while until it cools.

I like the colour of this set of 3 bowls and the little knife and fork that come with them is a great addition.
The suction function on the bottom of the bowls work brilliantly and they stay firmly on a surface without moving about.
I did notice however that the lids are not as 'snap tight" as you would want, especially if you are storing them and taking them along with you with food in them. They are not seal tight but do fit on properly.
The plastic lids have a small lip at the one side to help take the lid off easily and each lid has a different design on it. The bowls are a convenient size for baby food or if you are storing leftovers in as well. They could also be used for portion control. The sides of the bowls have small handles.
They are microwave and dishwasher safe and the special feature of the fork and spoon turning...

A highly cute and trendy set of kids' bowls: - I love the colour choice, and the different designs on each lid. They arrived in a box with attractive cardboard sleeve around it - you could absolutely give them as a present.
The 'stickability' of the suction pads underneath seems to depend on the surface you're fixing them to: when I stick them to my (formica) table, there is a vice-like grip which doesn't alter, and it requires a determined effort to detach them. On my (wood veneer) desk on the other hand, the grip only lasts a short time. (But, in fairness,the box does say you must only use on a smooth surface.)
They're so lovely that you would probably keep them for storage or microwaving (they're microwave-safe) when the kids grow out of them.
The fork and spoon have comfortable handles, and the ends are of a different (soft, bendy) plastic. I was intrigued by the promise that they change colour when the food is too hot for baby, but they really do turn from...
