I have scalp psoriasis, and I have to say that this ointment really helps me. Not a cure, but it stops the itching and reduces the redness. It makes a good emollient, and as another reviewer has noted, the smell is not unpleasant, the menthol coming through on top of any sulphur that might be there. I also find that it does tingle when applied. One last thing, the tubs I received in the two times I have bought this previously came with 80% extra free. Not sure how long this will last, but you might find yourself with 7.25oz instead of 4oz. I will upload a photo shortly.

After reading through various hair blogs, I learnt that Sulphur is great for hair growth as it cleans the scalp so I went on the hunt for a sulphur based product. Sulphur 8 was mentioned as product which users thought was effective but smelly. Many had used it growing up in the 90s and earlier. I bought this, and to me, there is no smell. I mix this with Jamaican Black Castor Oil and my hair is extremely healthy and has grown a lot. I can’t say for certain if my new growth (over an inch in 7 weeks), is due to the Sulphur 8 as I use it with another product (JBCO), take Biotin daily and drink lots of water. I’ll continue to use this as my hair is shiny and well moisturised and I can feel it working on my scalp.

Bought this to help deal with scalp dermatitis. Only used for a week so far, but seems to be doing a job.Also, was warned about the smell and was prepared to mix with one of my favourite oils. But I didn't find the smell offensive at all
