Summer nasal aspirator is a joke, 7 Jan. 2013
Bought it from elsewhere, but this thing does not fit the bill at all to clear 6 week old baby's nose mucus. It come with two attachment nozzles one for babies and one for bigger children. But small nozzle which suppose to fit into baby's nostrils is too big to get into our baby's nostril and I believe our baby is just of an average size. For us it was waste of money as we never been able to get it into work.

Cant understand the bad reviews. My little one has a cold with tonnes of mucus and this gadget is just sucking it all out like a hoover which makes it easier for him to breath. It took me a couple of attempts to work it as the instructions say 'squeeze' the base which doesn't work - you screw the clear top on and then push the base upwards into the clear top with your thumb. Let go and after two or three seconds it releases with strong suction and clears the nostril. U need to place the tip against the side of the nostril into the 'flow' of the mucus (yuk) and they say don't block the whole nostril - I imagine it might hurt or shock little one if all the air got sucked out instead? Anyway just wanted to share my excitement (sad I know) at finally buying a brand that works.

DOESN'T WORK!, 26 Feb. 2014
I bought this while pregnant in order to "be prepared" for future use as I had something similar I used for my first child. My little one is now 9 months old and has unfortunately picked up a cold with her nose running like a tap, exacerbated by sneezing.Armed with this summer infant nasal aspirator to appease the drip and avoid wiping her delicate skin CONSTANTLY of snot, I set about using it... to no avail.I've tried every so often throughout the day using different approaches. Unfortunately it's rubbish and doesn't aspirate ANYTHING and costed more than the similar product I used to use on my first child.
