Our son (just turned 2) wants to be a big boy and will not use anything that looks like a potty. However, he loves this! It looks like a real toilet but has the benefit that you can put it in any room you want. It's the perfect size for him to be able to go himself (he's too small to climb up onto an actual toilet) and the splash guard ensures wees go where they are meant to. There's a handy compartment at the back for wet wipes (we use washable ones, and can fit it quite a few). It's also very easy to clean (waste goes into a lift out jug that can be poured down the toilet very easily). While many of these kind of potties play music or give out stickers, I wanted one that's as close to the real thing as I can get, and I'm delighted with my choice. We can praise and encourage him ourselves and teach him to be proud of his own accomplishments, rather than him thinking every time he sits on the toilet he gets a prize.

Ultimately, we like it so much, we are thinking of getting...

Received item without a catch pot underneath! However, reported to Amazon and they promptly replaced the whole item free of charge! Great service! As for the product, my son loves it. It can be used as a potty, then a seat for the big boy toilet (which my son likes best) and the bottom then turns over into a stall to help wash little hands after. Highly recommend!

Good little potty for the price, 2 July 2015

Good little potty for the price. The little padded seat, although it seems comfortable, does lift very easily, often when my child stands up after sitting on the potty for a while she has it stuck to her little bottom! I love the fact it looks quite like a toilet and the loo roll holder is very useful. Very easy to clean. More than happy with it.
