We have used these several times on trips to the US, putting two car seats in each bag. The bags have held up well and even after one of them developed a small tear, it didn't spread and still withstood all the tossing and abuse that the airlines could offer.I think it is a must-have if you are going to rent a car (it saves lots of money to bring your own seat) and it protects your investments.Our seats on the last trip were two Graco boosters with backs in one bag and one Graco booster and back and a Maxi Cosi baby seat in the other. We had taken a 1-2-3 Maxi Cosi and a booster in one once before and all travelled well with not even a scratch!One drawback is they can be unwieldy to carry when full, but carrying it into the airport check-in from your car (or trolley) is a small price to pay to save hundreds on car seat rentals on the other side of The Pond.

only used once so far for holidays but fitted large maxicosi stage 2 car seat in no probs and made it so much easier to carry around airport thanks to big strap. Made me feel better about putting out expensice car seat in the plane hold as is nice and thick and seems really durable, esp for the price. only criticism is that I would of liked to be able to padlock it but as there is only one zip you cant do this, hence the 4 stars instead of 5.

Caution to bugaboo owners, 3 Sept. 2013

So yes, this does fit a bugaboo bee plus, making you think you are ok to Fly its that buggy. I just want to urge caution to anyone thinking of doing that. I flew back into uk at the weekend with my six month old ltd edition bee plus carefully packed into the travel bag. Instead of my buggy meeting me at the arrival gate, it was treated as checked baggage (although it had been handed in at the departure gate not check in area). As being treated as checked baggage, it was moved around very roughly resulting in the destruction of my bee. I am now claiming against the airline - of course the bag is not at fault (although it is very weak and tore so I imagine similar could happen around a car seat. I have now thrown my bag away,
