The best swaddling solution we have tried, 28 Aug. 2014

This is brilliant. We have tried a number of different swaddling methods: simple swaddling blanket (muslin or cellular), Gro Baby swaddle, Merino Kids Cocooi swaddle, and finally this Swaddle pod which was by far the best. The material feels lovely and soft and is perfect for hot summers when we were worried about over-heating. It is also stretchy so baby's movement isn't completely restricted. You can't go wrong as you simply place the baby inside and zip it up. If you need to change a nappy in the middle of the night, unzip from the bottom. It also washes well. Our son slept so well in this swaddle pod, and started sleeping through the night at only 1 week old (and he's a breastfed baby). As he got older he really wanted to be able to move his hands and so we only zipped it up half way and it still worked great. The only thing I would have liked would have been a better choice of colours or designs. However we loved this so much we'll be buying one for our friends who are...

Phew what a relief, 21 April 2017
After my 3 month old baby boy grew out of his grosnug I was desperate to find him something else, it was a nightmare trying to get him to sleep during the night without it as his arms were flying about everywhere and he kept rubbing his face, making him an unhappy tired baby! 40mins was the longest he slept without it! The first night in his swaddle pod he slept a full solid 5 hours. The material is lovely and soft and the zip doesn't rub under his chin or anything! He's not 100% happy when he's first zipped up and does wriggle about for a few mins trying to get his arms out because there is quite a bit of stretch in it but he has never managed yet and falls straight off to sleep when settled! Definitely recommend.

One of my most valuable baby items. Can really be used from birth to 6+. My baby sleeps in it every night and often during naps. I'm sure this is the reason why she is such a good sleeper. When I take it away to wash it my dd wakes up a lot more often. I think it's because they don't control their hands yet, and their hands can wake them up. Very soft and stretchy material. Don't get the 0-3 months one (we only used it for a few weeks before switching to this one), this is the only thing you need.
