I use this when in the car. I have had back pain/problems in the past and this has been very good and makes it a lot more comfortable when driving a long distance.It is proper memory foam, unlike others that say they are but are just sponge, so when you first sit down/use it, it does feel quite hard but it does soften and support your back. It does take time for it to adjust so you may need to wait for a little bit before you move your rear view mirror and seat in the car.Overall this is a great product and I have recommended it to my friends who have had problems with their backs.
