A Very Useful and Easy to Use Infrared Non-Contact Thermometer, 9 May 2015

This is a compact, well made and reliable infrared thermometer. The body is made from hard, lightweight plastics, and it's ergonomically designed so that it's comfortable to grip in the hand. It measures approximately 5.25 inches (13.5 cms) high, by roughly 1.75 inches (4.5 cms) wide, with a thickness of about 1.25 inches (3 cms) at the lower end and roughly 0.8 inches (2.2 cms) at the upper end. Aesthetically, it looks like a raygun which Captain Kirk and his pals would use. The thermometer comes with a light grey coloured carry pouch, made of a soft felt or similar material and with a drawstring fastener.

The battery compartment is at the back of the device and is easy to open and close. The product comes supplied with the required two AAA sized batteries.

To take a temperature reading, you depress the scan button on the front of the thermometer, pointing the front of the device at your forehead from a distance of about 3 to 5...

Best Thermometer I have ever used, 10 July 2013
I am in the child care business, and I have to say this is the best thermometer I have ever used, the kids love it you don't have to touch them, Just point near their forehead and take the reading. I tested it along side my old glass thermometer and the readings are exact.So much easier, I have recommended it to my colleagues and friends.
