Upon ordering it I was very excited but when it arrived and I used it I was very disappointed. Maybe it was because am black and the texture of my hair was too thick but since my hair was recently relaxed I thought it would be okay, the bristles are way too close to each other so it was a bit small, the quality wasn't that good and it was a bit too 'woodeny' for my hair, it also caused a lot of breakage for my hair maybe this was down to my hair texture, i think it would be more suitable for people with very fine thin hair maybe. Because of the experience I had with this product I definitely wouldn't recommend it especially if you have very thick hair. I would reccomend a plastic comb with wider britsles.

Brilliantly gentle for long hair, wet or dry, 5 Jun. 2015

I have almost waist-length hair that's quite fine so gets quite knotted during the daily wash. I tried a Tangle Teezer but it was still tuggy and a lot of hair came out when I used it. Finally found this Body Shop bargain comb, which is wonderful: smooth, tangle-free combing without tugging whether my hair's dry or wet. Will be buying again: one for the bathroom cabinet, one for the handbag!

Been my number 1 detangling comb since I received! No problems at all and the bamboo is a great material, feels a lot more premium. Works perfectly when your hairs sprayed with some leave in conditioner, or if you're in the shower conditioning your hair, perfect for that too! I prefer it over the detangler special over-priced brushes available, I have super thick wavy hair and it feels very gentle.
