Bought this to make transition easier for my son when he swapped from cot to toddler bed on his second birthday. He loves it. Quilt remains in place at night and obviously makes him feel secure but he does know he can shuffle up out the covers if he gets too hot. Had no problems with him climbing out of bed but any determined child could. My boy loves his new bed and sheets so doesn't want to! He just sits up when upset until we go in. I don't suppose it'll be long before we convert to normal bedding but I'd certainly say this helped the transition from cot and sleeping bag to toddler bed and real bedding. Shame it's so pricey but I felt it was a product I could trust. This is just my opinion and I err on the side of caution. I have friends whose children have made the transition to normal bedding with no problems too. Hope that helps! X

Although expensive to buy, these are great at keeping my son snuggled in at night and they are 100% cotton. He likes being zipped up at night which signals "sleep time". I liked it that much I purchased another one as I would spend this much on a duvet cover for me, so why not him! Please note it does not come with duvet or pillow - it's just a cover.

It didn't work for our wriggler, 20 Oct. 2015

I'm a big fan of The Gro Company and was particularly excited to receive this product so we could make the transition from cot to bed. Unfortunately this didn't work for us, my 2.5 year old has fallen out three times since we put it on two nights ago. He crawls up to the headboard & is still able to kick the quilt far enough off in order to get cold & roll out. This will work for a child that's not too active at night but if you have a real wriggler that hates to be covered up this isn't the answer. It's also pretty expensive for what it is, it's quite thin cotton.Off out to buy a bed guard today....😕
