Lovely quality but only fits when crib is attached to the bed., 11 July 2014

Lovely mattress and it fits the Babybay crib (standard size) perfectly while it is attached to the bed. However, the crib is designed to be converted into a free-standing crib, standing separate from the bed, with the addition of an extra side rail and the mattress is too big for this set-up: in fact, unless we've missed something, you can't attach the side-rail with the mattress there. Hence why only three stars.

Firm mattress, fits Babybay well, 9 Sept. 2014

Good quality mattress that fits the Babybay perfectly. The coir is a little hard, but my little one didn't mind at all. Tricky to find sheets that fit (that don't cost the earth) so I ended up using fitted sheets from a well known baby shop for a Moses basket that I had second hand. They fitted fine, no problem!

Also had a funny chemical/petrol-like smell to it, 6 Feb. 2015

The mattress was too hard (I know newborn mattresses should be firm, but this one was outright uncomfortable!). Also had a funny chemical/petrol-like smell to it, even after airing it out for 4 weeks before the baby was born.
