Our Nottingham manufacturers have been making these special shawls for the babies of celebrities and Royalty alike for many years and as well as being the chosen manufacturers to create a receiving shawl for HRH Price William, was also chosen for HRH Prince George.

Larger than average 122 cm x 122 cm (48' x 48') 100% Pure Softest Merino Lambswool.

The colour of this enormously popular Christening Shawl is a Natural Cream Ecru. It is unbleached and undyed Merino lambswool.

This shawl smelt powerfully of chemicals despite several hand washes in a liquid designed for wool wash. In the end I put it on a cold machine wash. It shrank to nothing. I told the company exactly what I'd done and whilst pleasant they only offered me discount on my next purchaseAS IF !!!!Who throws more money at a product that is u washable and smells

These were a present for our twin granddaughters, now six weeks old. Mum is thrilled with their lightness, warmth and natural wool composition, rather than acrylic - and yes, they are washable ! Lovely traditional shawls at a very reasonable price. The perfect baby gift.
