My friend recommended this product for helping settle my 6 wk old. I was put off a little by the price and not knowing if he would like it. He loves moving his arms around and hadn't been able to successfully swaddle him in a blanket without hysteria. But I bought it and it works! I put his lower half in it and start to feed him, as he gets sleepy I slip his arms in and once asleep I can now transfer him to his basket (something I struggled with before as his arms would flail and he would wake himself. I appreciate that once at a point where I put him to bed awake this may not suite but not there yet. Also check sizes as 3-6months starts at 14lb and my chap is long and big so went straight for that size. So pleased have ordered a second one. Also as someone else said, they can still wriggle there arms about but not enough that he wakes himself and its stretchy so he can move about comfortabley and legs not strapped straight with can hinder hip development. All in all a big thumbs up.

This definitely helped my little one when his reflexes would cause him to wake up. Keeps him happy and feeling cuddled whilst sleeping, ideal for moving a sleeping baby from one place to another without disturbing him. The two zip function is perfect for changing nappies or keeping baby swaddled while he's sleeping in his bouncer as his legs can still go through the leg holes.We took this to a hospital appointment when little one was being checked for hip dysplasia and the doctor was extremely impressed - the fabric was stretchy enough to alleviate any concerns about restricted leg movement.

worth the money, 2 Mar. 2014

Our son is now 17 weeks old (but born 3 weeks early) but he still sleeps much better swaddled. The Wombie is so easy to use; and I like that it's soft and stretchy, and that my boy can move his arms/hands around. AND, his armd can't escape!
