Quality 3 Pass Thermal Blackout Readymade Curtain Linings. 100% Polyester. Curtain Linings will always be approx 2-3" smaller in length than the curtain size mentioned. This will enable the correct size to fit exactly behind your existing curtains and avoid any overhang.

I would recommend opening the packet outside as the amount of dust that came out & covered every thing was unbelievable ! I opted to tack them onto the curtains as a permanent fixture. It dose say that you can iron the cloth side, it would take some ironing to get all the creases out. Blackout should be stated in inverted commas as you would need to tape them around the window to completely block out the light, they would not match up to the war office standards. They certainly make a huge difference, I am happy with the purchase. The photo shows one curtain fitted with the liner & the other without.

The fact that the curtain liner is not meant to be ironed is a drawback. Even though it is just a lining it is seen on the window from outside the house and is not very attractive. I would have hoped that a non-iron item would have been parcelled in such a way as to minimize crushing and creasing - possibly a roller would help.I have actually ironed the item on a silk setting and although not 100% satisfactory there is considerable improvement and no harm done to the actual item. I would not recommend this item to anyone else.M W
