Not blackout curtains, 30 Mar. 2017
Quick delivery. I bought the baby pink colour. Good quality curtains. Needed some ironing - not a problem as all material items need some ironing. Im giving it 3 *** as the description says blackout curtains. And that's the reason I bought these. But These are not blackout curtains. And there nothing there to attach your own blackout lining. I had to hand stitch the lining to these curtains. Photo attached. As you can see- left curtain hung as received. The right curtain has my own blackout liking attached to it.

Total absolute blackout, 26 July 2017
I bought about 5 sets of these in red and they give total blackout. Total absolute blackout. Even more than the blackout blinds I had made for over a grand a few years ago. Even in the afternoon, when the curtains are in holdbacks, they cast a shadow. Definitely not suited to areas you need a lot of light coming into. Almost forgot to add that the material is lovely. Feels velvety and just the right amount of thickness.
