I thought I'd use this for a few weeks before reviewing. I had an initial blip which looking back I put down to battery malfunction but being just the second week I was a bit sceptical. I spoke to the team who were so confident as to issue a second one for free to compare and maybe report the first if still malfunctioning. I have used both and I'm 100% satisfied.

To the review:

Packaging was great. It arrived in good condition. Plastic casing very good for safety although a bit bulky but not any more than most of its counterpaths.

Setup was brilliant. Simple straightforward clear instructions. 15 minutes and you're ready to go.

It's easy to use. It's brilliant. I have compared it to other brands especially Braun and it's always been no more than 0.1 degrees of disparity. It's accuracy is impressive. The fact that it is non-touch is wonderful. My children just love their temperature checked and patients just love it so much. There's a wow factor every time I use it...

Before purchasing this thermometer, I had researched other styles & makes, but decided that this would suit my need of purchase best of all. I work in a children's hospice & we are always scrabbling around for an axillary thermometer that works, and don't always have replacement covers for the in-ear thermometer. This scanning thermometer takes away these issues. I am extremely impressed by the style & ease of use of the product - it does all that it claims, will surface wipe without any problem for its multi patient use, and store in the robust case which is provided. The seller gave excellent customer service by sending an email prior to delivery, informing me with 'quick start' advice to ensure the best use of their product. I have tested it out successfully on my family members, and look forward to putting it to use at the hospice. There is also the bonus of a FREE 5 year extended warranty provided after registering the devices serial number. I would recommend this product for use...
