I purchased this thermometer as we managed to lose out last digital thermometer a few weeks ago. The thermometer arrived quickly in attractively-branded plastic packaging which was incredibly easy to open (I had out my scissors ready but didn't need them!).
The thermometer itself is very accurate and allows scope for oral, axilla or rectal readings. armpit or rectally. The thermometer registers a reading quickly and, best of all, remembers the last two temperatures taken (I tend to forget as soon as I take my eyes of a reading usually!).

I purchased this thermometer for my baby. I already have an in ear thermometer but last time I took her to the gp her took her temperature from under her arm pit which he told me was more accurate and their preferred way of monitoring infant temperatures. It arrived really quickly in plastic packaging (which wasnt that impossible to open packaging) . The thermometer itself works brilliantly you can use it in the mouth armpit or rectally. It keeps log of the two temperatures and measures really quickly. It's easy to sterilise which is really important to me. I use little alcohol wipes after washing the probe part of the thermometer. I then pop the plastic cover back over to keep it clean for my next use.
The thermometer it's self is really well made the end of it is flexible and feels really roubust, it's also Mercury free which is important for me to know with my using it with my little one.
