Great fun with Tiggly Shapes and a 2 year old., 23 July 2015

It's always difficult to set up a game with a toddler watching impatiently, so it was a relief that Tiggly shapes was so simple to start using. Once the free app is installed on an ipad, the game needs to recognise the shapes, which my 2 year old was able to do on her own.

Tiggly Safari was our favourite app. It involves making simple pictures of animals using the four shapes. The animals then move and make noises. It has a few different ways to play and offers the opportunity to practice recognising shapes, colours, animal names and sounds. One of the games challenges toddlers' reflexes as they have to "catch" the shape before it disappears from the screen.

My toddler loved holding and using the shapes. They are sturdy and feel like they would stand up to lots of use, but they are soft to touch and easy to grip and manipulate. I noticed that you could cheat at the game by putting your palm over the shape on the...

Fantastic toy!, 22 July 2015

We have received a free Tiggly Shapes and have found them great fun and educational.

There are 4 little shapes for this product, they are a nice size for little hands to hold and come in different striking colours. The drawstring bag is a nice touch to be able to store the shapes together and transport them too, so we can take them to other people's house to play. It didn’t take long to find or download the free 3 apps. In order to play the games, you have to use all 4 to unlock the screen, so if one did ever go missing in the future, you wouldn’t be able to play the apps with the physical shapes. My almost 2 year old son was very happy to play with this product and really enjoyed it.

Unfortunately our red square didn’t work very well. I had a play with it too in case it was just him not using it properly and it wasn't responsive for me either. We were promptly send another red square and this time it worked perfectly.

Innovative and educational way to interact with the ipad, 24 July 2015

My two year old loves these and the games that go with it. There are three free apps that use the shapes in every way I would think possible, matching, creating pictures, finding out about them etc. We also bought the only paid app thats conpatable a Christmas game.

There big and east to handle for my son, bright colours and come in a very handy drawstring bag to keep them in so you don't loose them.

The apps have a huge variety of items that pop up and the animals are particular favourites. My son is the younger age of the aimed audience but I'm sure he could have worked and used them from 1 1/2 as it's very simple to use - particularly on his own.

easy set up and menus to navigate and a great feature is you don't HAVE to have the shapes to work the games and it still be enjoyable so when he'd hidden the star he could still use all the apps.

An accidental extra was he changed the settings into french and started learning and telling me the french and English words...
