Really fun for new babies, 21 Jun. 2015

I was sent this in return for my honest review.

I love this baby costume! It is excellent quality and for the price great value for money. Both the hat and body are really thick and feel very soft against my baby's skin.

The only thing I would say is that I think it would be too small for a baby of 6 months. My daughter is 10 weeks and it fit her perfectly so I would definitely purchase this from newborn up to around 3 months max. Although the hat is big enough up to around 6 months, the body is not long enough, especially if you have a wriggly baby! Also, I did not use the glasses as they were huge! My 2 year old daughter has had a lot of fun playing with them though.

I hadn't purchased one of these in the past as I thought it would be a waste of money after the initial photos, however, I can see my daughter wearing the hat in the winter months and the body will make a nice storage bag for some of her toys.

I would definitely purchase...

Cute, adorable, beautiful, just amazing., 15 Jun. 2015

I can't tell you just how adorable this costume is :) it has brought a smile to everyone's face, and we now have a good selection of photographs that will continue to bring back happy memories for a long time to come.

The price of this item is fantastic. It is hand knitted, and a lot of time and love has gone into producing this. I admire the skill, and appreciate that the value of the costume goes far beyond the very reasonable price. I wish I could thank the maker, in addition to the seller.

It is ideal for new borns up to about 3 months, so the length of time that this item will fit it relatively limited, so take lots of pics, and wear it often. The quality is amazing, and it would be very nicely appreciated by a family member or friend once you're finished with it.

There was a single dropped stitch, or loose thread. The colours are vibrant, and the yarn is soft to the touch.

Appealing well knitted "baby costume", not sure about the glasses though, 19 Jun. 2015

This arrived in a nice zip lock pack preserving the look of the costume. Mostly designed to be used for a photo prop (really it's not practical for anything else) it is however knitted to a high standard with good finishing. You get the "red" hat which represents the caterpillar head with eyes and a nose with the purple antennas on each side.

Lower part is the body area with a mix of turquoise, pink, light blue and green it's a unisex outfit and would look equally good on a boy or girl. You do get plastic clear glasses they have no lenses in but to my eyes they're more for fun than adding something to the kit overall (in my view) As this is wool you'll need to hand wash it in cool water. Baby will happily take a nap in the main body part, but the hat is rather nice if you take the small one outside it's comfy and looks very cute on their head...
