This is a very nice, compact steamer and blender, it takes far less space than two separate appliances.
I've found that it is very easy to operate, you just select whether you want to steam and blend, just steam, or just blend, and you simply select the time you want it to work for, then leave it to do its thing.
The volume it can steam is plenty for making baby food, there's enough capacity for making some fresh and then for freezing some. There are two little feeding pots provided for storing the food, but for my 8-month old these aren't big enough, he eats about double this at every mealtime now.
The instructions for cooking meat say to cube the meat to about 1cm first, personally, I like to flash fry it first to seal in the flavour, then steam and blend it, otherwise it looks, and probably tastes, grey and unappetising to my little one. It takes a bit longer to blend/finely chop meat because it's more fibrous than veg, but I only found this out...

We were given a second hand Phillips Avent steamer/blender and used it a few times before we got the opportunity to get this.
I have to say that despite being brand new, much more modern and more expensive than the Avent one I have found this Tommee Tippe one just isn't as good.
First up it takes up a LOT more room yet makes roughly the same amount of food in one sitting. Also setting the actual steamer time is a complete pain and you'll do well not to end up with repetitive strain injury from having to press the button so many times! The Avent on the other hand you simply pour a set amount of water in and it stops steaming once the water is gone so is much simpler.
The main reason for buying a steamer/blender is so you can just dump the ingredients in, press a button and forget about it but with this one I find it is a lot more faff than the Avent and almost more faff than just doing it yourself manually with a saucepan and hand masher...

Hello! I ordered the product to Hungary, because there has not yet been made available. Very good product. It is very simple to use, easy handling characteristics. And blended with steamed, or Simmer just blended. CountdownTimer keys easy to handle. Up to 30 minutes to steam it. There is a pause button, a steamer and blender button must be pressed for 3 seconds. Good quality food made with consistency. Perfect, I love it. It does not bulk up. Easy to keep clean. Thank you Tommee Tippee, Amazon.
Hello! Én Magyarországra rendeltem a terméket, mivel itt még nem forgalmazzák. Tökéletes minden min'ségben. Nem foglal nagy helyet. Könny' tisztítani. BPA mentes.Könny', és egyszer' a kezelhet'sége. Kényelmes, mert csak beleteszem az összekockázott ételt, és beprogramozom, ' pedig megpárolja, és utána egyb''l turmixolja is, nekem nincs vele semmi...
