Great product, only lasts 2 weeks though!, 11 Jan. 2011

I love this product. It's very easy to use and keeps the nursery smell-free. However, it says each cassette lasts for 1 month and we go through each cassette in less than 2 weeks. I don't think we change our daughter's nappies any more than normal, but I bought 24 cassettes thinking it would last us 2 years and we've already gone through 12 cassettes in 5 1/2 months. Just something to keep in mind when you are budgeting...

Serves its purpose but not cheap!, 19 Jun. 2010

This nappy bin is certainly good. It seals all nappies securely and banishes all smells. A cassette lasts a few weeks but when you look at what you pay for the cassettes, I really wish now we'd have bought a Diaper Champ. Although these are more expensive to begin with you can use ordinary bin liners with these so it works out much cheaper in the long run. That said, these cassettes are much cheaper on Amazon than anywhere else.

A brilliant solution to stinky nappies, 4 Mar. 2011

I was horrifed when I saw the sangenic product on the highstreet as a pregnant first time mum...I mean who would want to store 3 days worth of dirty, smelly nappies in their nursery?! 3 days after my son was born in December this was my first and best purchase and we have never looked back!

Yes the system and casettes aren't cheap, but come on, its for a baby so everything is expensive and really they are a godsend - emptying the bin every couple of days fits in perfectly with me emptying my main kitchen bins so I just tip the nappy sausages (thats what they look like!) in to the kitchen bin liner and dispose in my wheely bin...no extra bin bags, no emptying all the bins every days - brilliant!

I would say buy a couple of three packs when they're on offer and store them if you can, I recently got some at a well known supermarket baby event for £[] which was great, but amazon certainly beats the rest most of the time with price.
