Essentially a dry shampoo?, 3 May 2015

Wasn't sure what this was going to do when it arrived. It's an absolutely tiny bottle, and I had my doubts as to whether anything so dinky could really do much for my hair, given that I have so much of it.

Having tried this out I would say it's more of a dry shampoo than a sculpting powder. I certainly couldn't 'sculpt' much with it anyway. It comes out as a fine, almost invisible powder, and is pretty much scent free. Once rubbed into unwashed hair it revives the hair, so is great between washes. Some reviewers have said they found it sticky, but I did not, so this may depend on the amount you use?

It has the benefit of not being white, so you don't get that 'grey' look some dry shampoos can give. However, with such a small pot, and with the talc style pour I'm not sure it's as easy to use as the spray cans. Perhaps for those occasions where your hair needs a boost, but you want something a bit classier and less obviously perfumed than the more common dry...

Hair raising stuff..., 4 May 2015
For reference; my hair is thick and layered, which people may think means that it's got body and texture already - but no. It means that my hair just hangs limply - curlers and such like won't take.To use; I simply dry my shoulder length hair, tip my head upside down and sprinkle the roots with Casual Sculpting Powder and massage in into my hair for noticeable volume to my hair. That’s it – no tricks or additional styling needed. It also gives my hair a matt texture that lasts and it smells great too.I'm not sure if it'd work on long hair due to the weight of the hair [maybe it'd be OK on longer hair with layers], but I'd definitely recommend this product for mid-length and shorter styles. Just be warned that this, like any styling product, does build-up, so use a good clarifying shampoo once a week or so.

Great for fine hair., 26 April 2015
I've never tried powder for my hair and never liked dry shampoos, but this has actually converted me (at least to this product). The powder comes in a cylindrical “talc" type of pot with little holes at the top. I sprinkled a small amount onto my roots, then massaged it in, drying off with my hairdryer. I found the results really pleasing. I had more volume and bounce, and this stayed in place for the vast majority of the day.You only really need to use a small amount on your hair, so it last a good while. It has a great scent too. Only downside is that you do get sticky hands from rubbing the powder in.
