I was quite surprised when I saw this toy, it wasn't quite what I expected. However, it has turned out to be one of my grand-daughter's favourites as she invents all sorts of experiments with it that it was not initially designed for. When she can hit the balls with the hammer I think she'll like it even more. So, value, as it has multi-function in the mind of an 11 month baby. I like the construction and she loves the colours.
