Picture and name of the object on one side and capital letter on the other side; 1-20 numbers of which 1-10 numbers correspond to the number of dots and 11-20 to the words. Beads size greater than 4 cm.

These beads are well crafted, brightly coloured and come with a hard wearing draw string bag. My daughter will have hours of fun with them. They are of great educational value, and of course will be fun to play with. All the beads are double sided with the alphabet beads having a large letter on one side and a brightly coloured well designed picture on the reverse. The number beads have dots on the reverse of the lower numbers, and the higher numbers have the number as a word on the reverse. A well presented, good quality wooden toy that any child will have hours of fun with. Highly recommended.

Safe size for the very young. Can be used on many levels, not just threading and hand eye coordination but useful for shape, colour, counting, vocabulary, sorting etc. The beads will be used for a long time as the little one becomes more able to count and talk. I had to contact the company regarding a question about the product and they were most helpful. I have been looking for quite a while for something like this but for a child who has only just turned 2 years old. All the others I found were far too small to be safe.

Brilliant toy - a current favourite, 30 Sept. 2013
My 22 month old LOVES these beads. They are very durable, colourful and I know they will last a long time. Currently, she likes me to tell her to thread the 'apple' or 'bus' - and the pictures are great. In the future we will be able to use the numbers too.Her favourite thing is to make long necklaces for her daddy to wear. :)A brilliant toy - simple, effective and in a lovely bag which she enjoys carrying around.Recommended!!
