We bought this for a friend's son's 1st birthday but I am going to struggle parting with it, as will my husband, two year old and 6 month old... We got it out of the box today to check it out and oh my god it is cute! It looks well made, and (possibly it says this in the description but I didn't remember) the eggs rotate as you pull it along which looks really cool. I'm sure the eggs will get lost as will the carriages but who cares? In my opinion this is a perfect little gift, especially at £10. Children will like it and the parents will love it! I will definitely be getting my daughter one for christmas.

I was online buying another toy for my daughters upcoming birthday and saw this delightful chick with her eggs - my daughter is too old for it so after a quick think of who would like it I purchased it for my niece for Christmas. I am so pleased with it, well made, beautiful and it looks fab when being pulled along, my partner even asked if the eggs were real they look so good! I'm quite sure my niece (and her mum) will love the gift.

Our 1 year-old drags this chicken everywhere, and it seems to encourage him to walk (at least move about). He also chews on the eggs and plays endlessly with the carts. Each cart is easily detachable, so there's more for baby to throw around the room, which he also enjoys very much.The toy itself is made of wood and very cute - try not to smile when the chicken is pulled along and the eggs start spinning on their cart!I am giving it four stars only because the chicken and the first cart came apart after a few days, exposing parts that had been glued carelessly. It was an easy fix, but my son probably chewed some of that toxic substance before we noticed it. Secondly, the string used to pull the chicken is a bit weak and will need to be replaced soon. I also find it slightly misleading that the brand's name is "Toys of Wood Oxford" but the pull along is made in China.
