Our best selling shawl has just had a makeover... Having sold our beautiful 100% Wool Baby Shawl for years, in its natural unbleached, undyed state we have now introduced the same item in this lovely soft off-white Merino lambswool.  

The shawl is beautifully crafted in Nottingham,  the centre of the English lace industry, using the same traditional designs that have been in use for hundreds of years.  It is a slightly modern take on a traditional heirloom baptism shawl and, whilst still practical, being warm and light weight, will be cherished for years, and if cared for properly, even for generations.

Wool cannot be dyed a bright white, consequently this is not a bright bleached white and if you put it next to pure white cotton it will appear a very creamy soft off-white. However it is easily white enough for baptismal requirements.
