Tom Tuskan Leather has, as one would imagine, a leathey note. However, this blend is so much more deeper and hints of woody oud, and smokiness are detectable as well as ever-so-slight sweetness. It is a great alternative to some of the more premium brands and represents great value for money. If you are unfamiliar with Middle Eastern perfumery products in general, you are advised to refrain from purchasing. Not quite what you are looking for? I absolutely love this smell. Never smelt the Tom Ford version so I can’t compare the two but this one is really very nice. A gorgeous fresh leather smell. I’ve been told it smells ‘very manly’. The projection is decent but the longevity, wow……never known anything like it. I put some on yesterday at 8am and by 22:00pm I could still smell it as I walked around. A thoroughly impressive oil for the price (though I would check EBay as you can get it much cheaper). It’s a very animalic smell to me, not in a faecal way at all. But to me it smells like hot cows (ha! I suppose they are made of leather after all!). It also vaguely reminds me of a nice gift shop on a farm (I know that sounds strange). It’s a posh smell of quality leather essentially so don’t worry, it smells classy and expensive.
