These are thick, warm sweatpants. The one thing is they did shrink a lot in the wash. Thus I would say that they are a bit small for size 12-18, although I have trousers that are size 1-1.5 that are even smaller than these, so they're not really the wrong size. However, we also got the leggings in the same exact size and they did not shrink and are huge compared to these. So compared to other things of the same brand these are very small for the size.
