Good value & practical basic model, 20 Aug. 2015

This is a more basic model than my previous baby monitor, but if that is what you are after then this is perfect. The design is really cute and I like the red backs for both parts of the monitor; I also really like the carry handles. It's really light, robust and compact - this is ideal for us as we travel a lot and this will be much easier than our previous monitor (the screen of which shattered very quickly). It came with instructions but is absolutely idiot proof so didn't really need them! My only fault is that the on/off switches on both parts of the unit seem to have a bit of a mind of their own, they can be a little fiddly but perhaps once we have had this a bit longer we will grow accustomed to them. I do miss some of the features of my previous monitor such as temperature indicator and talk back, but for less than half the price of the other one this is good value.

A great budget buy, 20 Aug. 2015

This is a really good monitor that's great value for money. The instructions were really clear and we were able to get the monitors up and running very quickly. You don't really need the instructions at all, it's very straightforward. The sound quality is very good, much better than our previous monitor, it's so good that initially we checked a couple of times to make sure that the baby unit was switched on as there was no background noise at all. For the basic listening needs i think this is a really good buy and i would recommend it, although there are lots of monitors with more features they're not essential features and this has the essential features well covered. My only negative really is that the parent unit and baby unit are very lightweight which makes them feel a little flimsy and i'm worried that if they were accidentally dropped that they would break easily.

A good little monitor for the price, basic but good. I like the idea of the sound bar when you turn the volume down, however it has to be quite a loud sound for it to show visually where as quieter sounds do come through with the volume up. I do miss the visual aspect of my previous monitor but for the price you can't grumble.Light weight parent unit allows for easy carrying and rechargeable batteries allows movement within the house.I would recommend this more as a travel unit for night at grans or holidays more than day to day use. But over all good product.
