Good, but obviously faulty, 24 Nov. 2010

I want to be able to give this a good review as the design is nice, it's easy to use, has several play options (duration/style/volume), it attaches easily to the cot, the projection is pretty clear, remote control is useful, the motor noise is unobtrusive and the sounds/melodies are very extensive and play clearly...But - we have owned 2 of these and both have failed after a week's light use (an hour in the morning, an hour in the afternoon). The projector has no problems, but the audio track skips back to the start (where the voice says "sweet dreams") and gets stuck looping "sweet dreams... sweet dreams... sweet dreams... sweet dreams" - not very soothing!We won't be bothering to replace it now, we'll try another product.I was reluctant to give it the one star, as it is a well thought out and designed product, which our baby loves, but with such a serious flaw occuring twice it really seemed the only option - sorry VTech.

Nice idea, but a bit disappointing, 30 Sept. 2011

I bought this mobile just the other day for my 2 month old son. The concept is lovely - a bear moves with light and music / nature noises, and helps your baby/child to fall asleep. The volume control is variable (not just loud, not so loud) and you can choose between,light and musiclight, projector and music,projector and musicor just music.The major downside to this product is the sound of the motor that makes the bear rock from side to side. Even when the light for the bear is off and just the projector is on, the bear still humms and buzzes and squeaks.I'm really not very happy with this product, and will be sending it back to the manufacturer. I have now read in many other customer reviews that they have the same problem. I wish I had found that out before buying it!

Not a miracle working. My baby doesn't even like it. Definetly does not help him sleep. It's like Blackpool illuminations when the lights come on!
