Vtech Toot Toot Drivers Connecting Tracks, 18 Feb. 2013

Firstly I would like to explain as to why I have only given 3 stars for this product and the reason is that my set of connecting tracks that was delivered today has a missing part. It is obvious as the packaging was still sealed and evidently not tampered with that this is not an error of Amazon's but more likely an error from Vtech at the manufacturing/packing stage. I have contacted Vtech direct in the hopes that they can just ship this missing part to me to save me having the hassle of returning the tracks for a full refund/exchange to Amazon and I am currently waiting to hear back from them so as soon as I do I shall amend my review accordingly.

Without the missing part I would have given this product 5 stars as basically it 'does what it says on the tin'. You get 8 pieces of track in the package; 4 long pieces of which 2 are red and 2 are yellow and 4 corner pieces of which 2 are blue and 2 are green. I have only given this item 3 stars because the picture and contents of the advertised box are not what i actually received meaning i was unable to join my daughters fire station to her garage a planned. It was only when i read the small print on the instructions that it states that the items inside may change to what is advertised.The actual track received is as good quality as the rest of the set so no complaints there. I thought it was a bit expensive for eight pieces.If you are trying to connect a garage to a firestation or something similar that has female end pieces you do not get the required male ended pieces as shown in the image (yellow and red pieces) they in fact came with female ends and the corner pieces were male ended.

My grandson loves this, 16 April 2013

We bought this for our 2 year old grandson after buying the garage and the airport. The airport came with some odd sized pieces of track but when fitted together with the garage and this track it all makes sense. All that is needed is some imagination and it all fits together perfectly with plenty of different combinations. All made with tough bendy plastic so no bits to break off. We need the fire station now so he can make his own Toot Toot Town!
