To be honest, this toy, by itself is amazing. The track is sturdy and east to assemble, the cars are durable, and easily played with, my son loves them. And if you are thinking of buying this for a friend's child, or a grandchild, or any child you don't actually live with, go for it! They will love you! If you are thinking of getting these toys for your own child. Please, for the love of sanity, don't do it! The sounds are mind dumbingly annoying. There is no volume switch (and they are not quite, subtle toys), though there is an on and off switch. But any two year old knows exactly how to turn the toys, that come from some sort of hell dimension, right back on. The voices and songs themselves make my brain melt and the worst thing of all, they keep going. Over and over again. Even if the toy hasn't been touched (or even looked at) for at least 30 minutes. I have yet to actually time this. But seriously. My son loves these toys. But i fantasize about accidentally on purpose throwing...
