Leathery spice, 22 Feb. 2014

I found this quite by accident whilst detouring through a dept. store. The bottle was a little eye catching so I sprayed a little on a card, had a whiff as I walked out of the store and thought it was quite nice. I put the card in my pocket as there were no bins around and thought no more of it.

Later that day I kept catching the scent. It had transferred to my hands, mobile phone and wallet as I had used the pocket. Later that evening I fished the card out and had another sniff. It was still noticeable, but not overpowering. The wife commented upon it and thought it rather manly. I had to buy it there and then!

I read the experts scent notes on this and wonder what planet they are on. I have seen this advertised as "bergamot and myrtle, succeeded in the heart by roasted coffee combined with gianduja cream, on a rich base created of cedar and precious leather. "

For one thing, I wouldn't know what bergamot, myrtle or gianduja were if they jumped up...

Good fragrance, 20 April 2014

Delivery: Product came very quickly and in perfect condition.Product: After weeks of finding a fragrance to buy I struggled to find any that I loved, I found a sample of Valentino Uomo in a magazine and straightaway knew this was the fragrance I was looking for. The scent is harsh at first but settles into a sweet smell which I think resembles chocolate and coffee and lasts for a while. I have had many compliments over this fragrance and would recommend it.
