Strong and secure once you know the trick of using them, 11 April 2014
I bought these as spares for my electric pump when I purchased it however they are so long lasting if taken off correctly that I don't even need them yet. The only down side is where the milk flows out of them and into the bottle it feels very flimsy, but then I realised that it's easier and it feels more secure if you turn the membranes off instead off pulling them.

These were generally fine replacements, although I did find them a bit tight fitting in the place they push onto, to the point that one actually got well and truly stuck (although we did get it off eventually)... hence the four stars.

Work as well as medela's own brand, 21 Feb. 2014
These work perfectly with my Medela pump. The little rubber membranes are easily lost in the dishwasher so it's good to have spares.
