Not easy to drink from, 20 Jan. 2015

I have had two of these and in both I chose not to use the non- spill valve as free flow is better for oral development. However both are almost impossible for my baby to drink from without soaking himself - something that we don't experience with Tommy tippy basics cups.

Vital cup!, 8 Nov. 2012

My daughter was breastfed until she was 10 months old, and refused to drink from all bottles and almost all cups. It was quite stressful. I bought all sorts and makes, and in the end this cup was the only one she would use. I think it comes with an insert to make it a sippy cup (not 100% sure so don't purchase the cup based on that!) but we had to take it out so it was just a free pour cup.We had a couple of these that we used and dishwashered constantly, and 3 years on we still occasionally use them if she wants some water by her bed. They are sturdy little things and last very well. I'm just ordering some new ones for my sonLike others say it will leak if tipped up, but for us it was a lifesaver as it meant I could go back to work!

Good starter cup, 15 May 2012

I ordered this after getting one as part of a weaning set (I have twins). My boys love biting on the teat and has made the introduction of a cup an enjoyable experience for them. It will spill if tipped and will leak in a bag with it's lid on unless the no spill fitting is in (as we discovered). Probably not suitable for the boys to feed themselves but it is great for the moment as they are only 5 months old.
