Fantastic weaning spoons, 18 April 2015

These are excellent little spoons for weaning. I bought them for my six month old and they are a perfect size for feeding her. They're brilliant value for money - I have bought two packs of them so that they're always handy at feeding times - I have a couple of other weaning spoon brands (munchkin and tommee tippee) that were bought as gifts, but I find that the vital spoons are much better.

The material is much softer than many other weaning spoons on the market, which is great when she's teething as she has a tendency to bite the spoon every now and again! They're a good shape too, making it easy to scrape all the food out of a bowl or weaning pot. They're also a nice length to fit into a bag for feeding away from home (I can't understand why some weaning spoons are longer than ordinary adult spoons!)

Some reviewers have mentioned the spoons being too deep and food being left behind as a result - they are fairly deep for weaning spoons, but I can't say that...

These are great first weaning spoons, perfect size and nice and soft. Would reccommend :-) I use a lot of other vital baby products and find them really good quality.

My girls are 6 months old and have been weaning since 4 months. I bought these spoons to help with feeding but they are very deeply troughed in the middle, making it difficult to get all the food out. I'd say they'll be better for 9-12 months but that may just be for my babies.
