Ordered one and the battery was indicating low upon first use. Sent back, got replacement and same fault with the second one. Massive inconvenience with needing to buy a replacement in the shops, printing out return labels and sending back and what not.Avoid like the plague until they've put in some decent batteries. Shame because it looks like a useful little thermometer.

Unfortunately had a low battery fault as well. Didn't mind changing the battery but the fault was still there after putting a brand new battery in i.e it didn't work. Packaging got broken so not sure about returning and also probably not worth my time as this got bought as an add on item for cheap. Wouldn't want to pay the full price for it! It's such a nice brand otherwise so they really shouldn't put their name on this item...

Quick reading, handy light indicator green for normal, red for too warm, great when using during the night. Nice big display. Bendy and not cold to touch....important when putting under a childs arm...and brightly coloured so we never lose it!No problems with the battery, we've had it for nearly a year and haven't changed the batteries once, and have used it a lot!
