When did sippy cups get into competition with regular cups!My nephew wanted to start drinking from a normal everyday cup as he was used to those tip it up cups from tommee tippee and as a three year old will prove, once they want something they need it then!My husband and I purchsed this cup as it started out as a sippy cup that he was used to and then you changed top over when they were ready...once they have mastered flow control; you moved on to the little ring to make it a normal everyday cup....but it didnt quite work out that way, Our nephew realised that the top unscrews and we had drink everywhere! a better design would have been something you push in to the cup with a seal around it.....We trashed this and just brought some plastic beakers instead, much easier and he can now tell how much to tip the cup!

I think it is amazing how you get 3 different lids however this cup with either lid is not travel friendly. I don't mean as a travel cup, just if you leave your house to go anywhere! Yes there is a lid for the spout but it has clipped off when both in the side pocket of the baby bag in the car and underneath the pram whilst walking, thank god it was only water in the cup as it was everywhere! What I have to do now is keep filling up a drinks bottle of cooled boiled water and pouring it in his cup as and when required then discarding the water he hasn't drank, such an inconvenience!BUT If u plan to never use this outside of your home then it is perfect!

The spout doesn't line up between the handles. I ordered a second one as thought the first one may have been faulty but the second one was exactly the same. Sent them both back for a refund.
