At last small,proper WEANING bowl!, 11 Feb. 2011

This is lovely,cute little bowl,perfect for weaning stage.I was fed up with average baby feeding/weaning bowls as they are tend to be too big for the little amounts of food I used to heat up.the little food pots were too small,there was nothing in between them until I found this one...The lid stays on very well and the spoon is lovely and soft-perfect for little mouths and gentle gums.Great for travel-easily fit in my Thermos small insulated bag,it will even fit in one of the pockets of my changing bag.It also look very nice with it's transparent design and funky shape.Very light,very easy to clean.no stains-even after tomato sauce!Another positive side of this-the price!I used to buy tommee tippee staff before but this .It is the same quality,I would even say that this weaning bowl is better than TT's weaning bowl as the spoon stays right in place whilst in TT's is coming of all the time.I would strongly recommend this!Bought it together with the tiny 120 ml first tumbler-a...

OK, but a bit fiddly to use, 2 Nov. 2011

I bought this set when my daughter started weaning, to use for occasional lunches out and about. On the whole, it's OK, but having used it for a while, I'm not convinced that the little flap that holds the spoon in place is all that helpful, and if you put a dirty spoon back in it, it's a bit fiddly to clean out again. The lid can also be a bit reluctant to go on, and the spoon and flap then tend to get in the way of giving it a good push down. It's also worth noting that the spoon included in the set is a bit narrower than the standard Vital Baby weaning spoons, so it's good for when your baby is very young, but can be a bit small as they get older and want larger mouthfuls.On the whole, I don't consider this product to be a 'weaning essential' - any container with a lid and a suitable spoon will serve much the same purpose, and you can always wrap dirty dishes up in a plastic bag when baby has finished eating.

Lid does not close, 19 Dec. 2012

The feeding bowl and spoon is very nice, but the lid does not close properly so can't store food in it or take it anywhere.
